Marketing hires me when the campaign depends on something technical.

Engineering keeps me when the technical thing turns out to depend on marketing. I build email architecture, marketing automation and the internal tooling in between. For enterprise clients in beauty retail, pharmaceuticals, industrial technology, regulated gaming and furniture retail.

70M+recipients in programmes running on the architecture I built
€700M+email attributed revenue on the same architecture
15+European markets rolled out, one codebase
+22%more revenue from email after redesign and rollout

What I do

Three things, and all three depend on each other.

Most email problems are data problems wearing a template costume. Which is why my work does not stop at the HTML and does not start at the campaign plan.

Email architecture

Modular master template systems instead of a folder of one off newsletters. An architecture marketing can operate without a developer on standby.

  • Outlook, dark mode, legacy clients
  • Localisation across multiple markets
  • Accessibility under EAA and BFSG
  • MJML, HTML, CSS, Litmus, Email on Acid

Marketing automation & CRM

Segmentation, journeys and lifecycle automations that do not buckle under real data. Plus the measurement layer that feeds them.

  • SAP Emarsys, Adobe Marketo, Dynamics 365
  • Dymatrix CDP, HubSpot, CleverReach
  • Deliverability: DKIM, DMARC, SPF, BIMI
  • GDPR compliant data flows

Integration & AI tooling

Internal tools that replace recurring manual work. Delivered in days rather than sprints, because I work with agents instead of talking about them.

  • REST APIs, webhooks, Postman, n8n
  • Local LLMs, MCP servers, multi agent workflows
  • JavaScript, SQL, Git, Jest
  • AI assisted content auditing at scale

Selected work

Five clients, two worlds, one discipline.

All engagements run through adesso SE, one of Germany's largest IT service providers. I do not name clients, because I signed agreements saying I would not. Sector, scale and stack are accurate. The rest I am happy to discuss in person.

Beauty retailB2C

Leading European beauty retailer, 15+ markets
SAP Emarsys (SAP Engage)
since 09/2024

  • Owned the newsletter redesign end to end: coded the template, aligned design with brand and creative, coordinated translations, and drove the rollout across 15+ European markets.
  • Built the layer above it: segmentation, journeys and lifecycle automations. Designed and shipped, not specced and handed over.
  • Migrated email tracking after engagement data stopped reconciling. Roughly 25% of contact data enriched as a result.
  • Set up SMS and push as owned channels next to email, including personalised sends, and worked with the client's app developers on in-app tracking so targeting runs on real behaviour.
  • One architecture, fifteen sets of local requirements, staggered launches, no forked templates.

PharmaceuticalsB2B

Global pharmaceutical CDMO
Adobe Marketo
since 07/2025

  • Ran Marketo end to end: multi channel campaigns, landing pages, and the consulting layer around both.
  • Architected automated data flows and smart lists that fixed lead management at the source instead of patching it downstream.
  • Refactored legacy master templates nobody wanted to open, then extended the platform with custom modular components.
  • Regulated environment where "we will fix it in the next send" is not an available option.

Industrial technologyB2B

Global manufacturer, air conditioning and industrial tech
Microsoft Dynamics 365
since 09/2025

  • Built an internal tool that removed a recurring manual step from global marketing operations. Hours back per campaign, one class of error gone for good.
  • Built marketing automations in Dynamics 365 with Customer Insights Journeys.
  • Adapted website and content to the new accessibility legislation using AI assisted auditing and rewriting.

LotteryB2C

Regulated German lottery operator
Kameleoon, JavaScript
since 2025

  • Set up Kameleoon and built the testing concept, including the segments.
  • Implemented a range of A/B tests in Kameleoon: page variants created with JavaScript and packaged as tests, for static pages, framework driven pages and a single page application with MutationObserver.
  • Analysed the client's existing code and used its methods and functions inside the tests, agreed with their frontend and backend teams.
  • Analysed results and aligned them with the client team so the changes went permanently into the main site.

Furniture retailB2C

Major German furniture and home retailer
CleverReach
since 12/2025

  • Designed a scalable, brand compliant master template system.
  • Shipped the redesign and rollout that increased revenue from email by 22%.
  • Responsive layouts that hold in legacy clients, modern ISP renderers and dark mode alike.

Files

Two files. One for you, one for your AI.

You are going to paste my CV into an assistant anyway. So here is a version built for that: structured facts, every number with context, a list of what I explicitly do not claim, and ready to run prompts at the end.

If your assistant tells you something about me that the file does not support, the file wins.

FAQ

What recruiters ask first.

What roles am I a fit for?
Roles between marketing and engineering: marketing technologist, marketing automation lead, CRM or email architect, martech consultant. Strongest fit where email and CRM are a real revenue channel rather than a newsletter, or where a marketing automation or CDP stack needs migrating, consolidating and cleaning up.
Which platforms do I actually know?
SAP Emarsys (SAP Engage), Adobe Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics 365 with Customer Insights Journeys, Dymatrix CDP, HubSpot, CleverReach, and Kameleoon for A/B testing. Certified on SAP Emarsys and Dymatrix CDP. All four major client engagements of the last two years ran on these systems.
What does AI native mean here in practice?
Locally hosted language models, configured MCP servers, multi agent workflows on real client work, and AI assisted content auditing at a scale manual review cannot reach. Tooling in delivery, not a talking point in a workshop.
German level, location, working model?
German C1, English C1, Ukrainian and Russian native, Polish B2. Based in Zeven, Lower Saxony. Working across DACH and Europe, remote and on client site.
What do I explicitly not claim?
No graphic or UX design ownership: I can align, implement and defend a design, but I do not originate visual identity. No backend or data engineering at warehouse scale. No large scale performance media buying as a core mandate. No formal CI/CD ownership. It is in the AI briefing too, so nobody has to guess generously.
